The Chicago Athenaeum — emerging architects and designers

Tolila+Gilliland Atelier d’Architecture, a partnership including chapter member Nicholas Gilliland AIA, has been named by The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, among the 40 emerging architects under 40 (“EUROPE 40 UNDER 40”) who “will influence the near future of European architectural design, thinking, and theory with the direct consequence of impacting future environments and future European and international cities.”

AIA Europe members Carrie Wilbert Assoc. AIA and Eleonore Levieux, Prof. Aff. of Paris, France traveled to New York in July for the opening of the exhibition, "QueensWay Connection: Elevating the Public Realm, presenting the entries to the latest ideas competition developed by the AIANY Emerging New York Architects (ENYA) committee. Congratulations to Carrie and Eleanore for winning the the top ENYA Prize for their entry, "The Queensway Steps".
