In cooperation with the AIA Historic Resources Committee, the 2012 AIA Committee on Design Conference, The Role of Style in Defining Architectural Design Excellence, is now open to registration. The program starts with a close look at Seville with optional extensions to Granada/Cordoba and then Morocco. Dates are from 11-16 November, 17-18 November and 19-22 November, respectively. Early registration (a considerable savings) ends 10 August.

Steven was a founding member of AIA Europe, with board service as President in 2000. While currently assigned to AIA Middle East, he maintains an active membership with AIA Europe.

AIA UK continues with their series of successful weekend excursions with a weekend tour of Cambridge on 7-9 September 2012.
Included will be a guided tour of Cambridge, detailed architectural building tours, and presentations by architects who have worked in the city and surrounding areas. A gala dinner held on the Saturday evening.

Sandra Zettersten AIA received Fellowship in the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) in March 2012. Recognition was for service to SAME and for her professional career, including service with AIA Europe. In addition to once serving as AIA Europe President, Sandra has served as President of the Rhein Main Post in Wiesbaden for several years.
