Member Alp at INTERARCH`2012

AIA Europe member Ahmet V. Alp, AIA, TMMOB, IAA, RIBA of Turkey participates in the International Academy Of Architecture  INTERARCH`2012 of 13-16 May 2012.

In addition to delivering a lecture at the Authors' Conferences: Leading Masters of the World Contemporary Architecture, his work will be exhibited in Leading Masters of World Contemporary Architecture, IAA Members. His project, the Taksim Mosque & Museum of History of Religions (Istanbul)  will compete in the Exhibition-Competition of Architectural Projects and Built Works.

AIA member benefits guide

AIA Europe members, seasoned or not, are encouraged to review the newly available AIA member benefits guide (1.8 MB pdf). Beyond the introductory note for AIA Europe — including a short note by past-president Gregg Brodarick — much of the guide is US centric, but does at least lend a sense of place in the Institute to its members.

Vonier candidacy for Institute Vice President

Thomas Vonier FAIA, currently representing the AIA international community on the Institute Board as International Director, is a candidate for Vice President on the AIA Board of Directors for 2013. At the January meeting in Paris of the AIA Europe Board of Directors, a resolution was adopted expressing the full support of the Board on behalf of the Chapter.
