Museum der Kulturen by Herzog & de Meuron

Alyn Griffiths of Dezeen, a guest of Laufen and present for some AIA Europe sessions at the Voltahalle, was in Basel during Small City — Global City in October 2011 (cf. Twitter). For today, if nothing else from Dezeen, don't miss the Metropol Parasol of Seville, Spain (from April).
