AIA Europe member Kai-Uwe Bergmann, AIA, RIBA, MAA, LEED AP, of BIG | Bjarke Ingels Group is pleased to share the winning team (BIG + TNT Nuuk + Ramboll Nuuk + Arkitekti) entry for the new National Gallery of Greenland in the country’s capital, Nuuk. Via @aiaeurope, came news of the new power plant to double as ski slope. Bergmann adds by email, “We have been on a bit of a winning streak lately… really nice after going 13 months without a competition win. I look forward to seeing my other AIA Europe colleagues at conferences / events in Europe.” He goes further, expressing his interest in seeing members at MIPIM — perhaps Stockholm and Basel might also provide the occassion.
