At the AIA Convention in Boston, Italy section member Giancarlo Alhadeff, FAIA, was inducted into the College of Fellows at a ceremony in Boston’s Old South Church. AIACE now counts 6 Fellows within the chapter membership.
Stefan Behnisch of Germany, Jan Gehl of Denmark and Benjamin Mouton of France join him this year as Honorary Fellows within the territory of AIA Continental Europe.

Italy section director Esteban Cruz, Assoc. AIA, is developing an Italy section event/chapter mini-conference for 10-11 October 2008, New Architecture in Milan and Tuscany. In order to proceed (a minimum attendance is required to make the event successful), he seeks input from members to gauge likely attendance. Answers to the survey neither commit nor guarantee a place for those responding; registration will open at a later date.
Before 6 July, even if unlikely to attend, all members are kindly asked to complete this very short survey.
