AIA selects 5 in Continental Europe territory as Honorary Fellows

Among 85 individuals who were selected as Fellows and Honorary Fellows of the Institute in 2007 are five honorary fellows in the territory of the Continental Europe Chapter. All were noted for promoting “the aesthetic, scientific, and practical efficiency of the profession.”

Honorary Fellowship is bestowed on architects of esteemed character and distinguished achievements who are neither U.S. citizens nor U.S. residents and do not primarily practice architecture within the domain of the Institute.

The Fellows and Honorary Fellows will be invested on May 4 at the Alamo during the AIA National Convention in San Antonio.

AIA Continental Europe chapter member Thomas Vonier, FAIA, with Harold Adams, FAIA, RIBA, JIA, comprised the 2007 Honorary Fellows Jury.
