Recent projects of AIA Europe member Murat Soygenis — S+ ARCHITECTURE — are on exhibit at the AIA Baltimore Gallery from 5-26 August 2015.
Most of the projects on display are selected from S+ ARCHITECTURE’s work within the past ten years and include a wide array of building types such as academic, adaptive reuse, cultural, educational, industrial, mixed use, office, residential, retail-recreation and urban project. The overall goal of architectural office is to establish the harmony between the context and the projects. Eastern section director Bardhyl Rama, Int'l Assoc. AIA of Kosovo presented a short history of AIA and AIA Europe at Prishtina Architecture Week.
Covering the Board of Directors, Chapters, Membership, the Annual National Convention, ARCHITECT magazine, and goals of the AIA, he also emphasized the conferences of AIA Europe. All participants were invited to remain in contact with AIA Europe for ideas and projects for a planned 2018 Spring Conference in Prishtina and Tirana. Thomas Vonier FAIA provided a brief statement for the event, as a show of support from the AIA and the UIA.
