AIA Europe is pleased to announce the first winner of the Alan Schwartzman Scholarship, Julia Kwolyk of the University of Virginia. From 6 July-1 August, Julia will attend the American Conservatory at the L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Fontainebleau.
AIA Europe is pleased to issue the Call for Entries for the 2015 Honors & Awards program.
Award categories include Architectural design, Interior design, Urban design, Un-built, and other small projects.

Although this year’s AIA United Kingdom Design Awards competition attracted the most submissions in its 18-year history, award recipients succeeded with a minimum of ornament and elaboration. Simple, strong designs, largely influenced by late-period Modernism carried the day. —via AIArchitect
The AIA UK/London Chapter Annual Excellence in Design Awards is open to architects anywhere in the world for projects completed in the UK and for UK-based architects for projects completed anywhere in the world. The submission deadline is 5.00 pm GMT Wednesday 28 February 2007. Also being offered is The Noel Hill Student Travel Award, open for current students in UK universities.
