The AIA Continental Europe chapter received mention in the 29 November 2004 Institute Update to the AIA Leadership from Norman L. Koonce, FAIA.
Noted specifically were special guests at the Paris Rive Gauche Conference of November 2004: AIA President Gene Hopkins, FAIA and President-elect Doug Steidl, FAIA.
Present, in part, to award a Presidential Citation marking 10 years of the AIA Continental Europe Chapter, Hopkins and Steidl also bestowed the Honorary Fellows Medal on Suha Ozkan, Director of the Aga Khan Fondation, at the opening reception.
