New server

AIA Continental Europe has a new home on the infobahn. Our site is now hosted by TextDrive. TextDrive is a small company with people known by name and face, located in Europe and North America. It’s a good fit.

We hope the transition continues smoothly but glitches may arise. If you find or notice something out of the ordinary, please contact Richard Anderson.

AIA International Contract Documents

In 2002, the AIA introduced two standard form agreements for use by US architects working on projects in a foreign country, B611-2002, Standard Form of Agreement between Client and Consultant for use where the Project is located outside the United States, and B621-2002, an abbreviated version of B611.

The AIA Documents Committee would like to hear from anyone who has used either of these documents and would be willing to share his or her experiences. The AIA will use any feedback to improve the documents and to supplement educational programs about them.

If you have experiences to share, please send an e-mail to docinfo@aia.org.

AIACE > February Board Meeting

Slipped through the cracks. The AIACE Board Meeting minutes had been added to the web site but no link was made from the front page. Yes, they are from February. Think cool thoughts.
