I have put photos of our Finland conference on the web. There are six albums; Helsinki-Walking tour (44), Helsinki-Saturday (27), Helsinki-Misc. (18), Hvittraesk (24), Porvoo (25), and Tallinn (27). The University of Illinois Architecture Study Abroad Program in Versailles (UIUC-SAPV) is pleased to announce that Minoru Takeyama, from Tokyo, Japan, will deliver the inaugural lecture of the UIUC-SAPV 2005-2006 Lecture Series on Tuesday, October 11 at 18h30 in the auditorium of the Ecole d’Architecture de Versailles, 5 Avenue de Sceaux, Versailles.
For more information please contact the UIUC-SAPV at +33 (0)1 39 51 36 04. The lecture is entitled: “Heterogeneity Versus Homogeneity: Concept of a Japanese Architect.” The lecture is free and open to the general public.
If the lecture is not less than 1 hour, AIA members can receive CES credits by completing a self-report form online.

The AIA London/UK Chapter has arranged an exclusive tour of the new Wembley Stadium led by a member of the World Stadium Team for 13 October 2005, 16h45-18h45.
The new Wembley Stadium will be a landmark for London and one that will have a dramatic effect on the London Skyline, with the Stadium's iconic arch being visible across the city. When lit on a clear evening, the arch will be seen from Canary Wharf - 13 miles away.
